The South West Jets Netball Board approached Djidi Djidi in 2021

The South West Jets Netball Board approached Djidi Djidi in 2021 to design a dress for their Indigenous round.

Year 5 and 6 students used symbols from the South East Regional Centre for Urban Care (SERCUL) and their own drawings to create designs for the team.

Lijilijana Barlow is the Djidi Djidi graduating student of 2021 who had her dress design chosen by the South West Jets.

Lijilijana attended the home game and launch of the new dresses and was presented with her own South West Jets dress as a momento.

The team are very excited and pleased with their new dresses and plan to wear it for more games other than the Indigenous round.
