Djidi Performance Group Shines at Maali Social Centre

On Tuesday 28th May, our Djidi Djidi Aboriginal School Performance Group had the privilege of visiting the Bethanie Maali Social Centre as part of their Reconciliation Week activities.

This special visit was an opportunity for our students to share culture, song and connection with local Elders and seniors in the community. The group performed a number of songs in Noongar language, proudly showcasing their learning and celebrating the strength and beauty of Aboriginal culture.

After the performance, students and seniors enjoyed a relaxed time together, sharing food, stories and laughter. It was a meaningful chance to listen, reflect and build relationships across generations.

We are deeply grateful to the Bethanie Maali community for welcoming us so warmly. These moments of shared learning and respect are at the heart of Reconciliation.
